Come create a glass art tile or hanging plaque that expresses your favorite vacation getaway, especially if you haven’t been able to experience a real one in the last couple of years! Where would you go? What would you do? Camping in nature, golfing, wine tasting, or relaxing on a beach in Hawaii? Let your imagination take you away!

You will be guided as needed in glass cutting techniques and design considerations and will have access to a large selection of glass - transparent, opaque, frit, stringers, noodles, etc. All materials are included to create one plaque (approx. 8” sq.) If you’d like your art to be transformed into a curved dish, there’s an additional $10 due at the workshop to “slump” your project into a form during a second kiln firing. Beginners welcome! Ages 13 to Adult.

All projects will be fired in our kilns and available for pick-up approximately one week after class at the Fallbrook School of the Arts. If you are not local, other arrangements can be made to get your project to you.
